The Hard Part of Explaining What I Do

Is there an aspect in what you do for a living, or in life, that is hard to explain?

And when you try to explain it the other person gets this glossy look in their eyes?

Mine is intuition.

The mind-body medicine modality I practice  is rooted in the practitioner’s ability to connect to their intuition, but it doesn’t rely on that intuition.

We learn a structured process of utilizing our intuitive ability to get to the root of an issue, apply it in the session, and help the body get back to a state of self healing.

It’s hard to explain or talk about because intuition has gotten a bad rap in our culture, but the truth is that every single person is intuitive and has intuition.

The more culturally safe term to use is a gut feeling.

If you’ve ever felt or said that you will or won’t do something because you feel it in your gut you used your intuition! So it’s not so scary after all!

Since I’ve been training in the various modalities I practice for a good number of years I find that my intuition is developing and growing constantly.

It’s not that I am special in this way, I just gave myself a chance, studied and practiced consistently, that I can now rely on my intuition.

And the things that come up in sessions are mind blowing.

I wonder what would happen if I challenge you to hit reply and tell me something about what you do that’s usually hard to explain? Go ahead. I’m ready to learn!

So much love, Dafna

As a result of pandemic regulations my office is indefinitely closed. I do offer remote sessions in small windows of time while my 2 young kids are home.
